V for Ven… and Chris Cunningham got fired

Yesterday I was watching television, which is a rarity, and actually found something I really wanted to watch. It was not just something to dull my mind for sleep, as I sometimes do. An edited version of V for Vendetta was on! The movie was half way through. I did not want to ruin the graphic novel which I still have not finished to watch a movie which I have not started. However, today, I saw that it was on so I recorded it! Sometime soon I will watch it.

That graphic novel is packed in a box somewhere and is sitting in my garage. Sadly, it has been borrowed for far too long. As soon as it is unpacked it shall be returned to its rightful owner. Sorry for keeping it so long, Noraa.

On a sad note, the man I suspect is truly Chris Cunningham, Josh, has been fired. Currently I do not know why but he did have plans of leaving. One night he invited me to share a pizza with him. It was then that he shared with me his dreams of becoming a diamond miner. He said his uncle, who is already a diamond miner, took a big chunk of raw diamonds and used it as a cereal bowl since it was just the right shape for one. Josh told me that if he became a miner he would look for a piece he could drink out of. All I could picture was a scrawny, pale skinned, caucasian version of Snoop Dog.

For those who have not yet seen it, Noraa has released a third episode of Botopia which you may view below. It is hilarious and I am exitedly thinking (now and then) of ideas for the fourth episode. Noraa, the third episode is amazing!

The Chocolate Shoppe Chap

There is a story I wrote in early 2005 that has been on my mind for a couple of months now. I wanted to read it and see if I still liked it. It is probably one of my favorite ones. This is the reason I still keep my old blog active. There are a number of stories like this one.

Maybe I will try to get it published some day. The story goes as follows:

i’m not to blame, for i cannot help that it tastes so good…

Walking through isles of chocolate, sugars and candies can get you quite hungry. Walking one day on my way down the street the Billy Belly Boy barren with blubber blew his blither blather over my way,”Come with me to the candy shoppe store and we’ll have a good time i say!”
”That we must do if we are to have ourselves a good day. We shall eat some candy and chocolate my friend if we go over that way.” i shoved through the air with my throat on that day. We walked side by side to the chocolate shoppe to find what we would on that certain day.
The shoppe door opened with a frivolous sound, the bells jingled and the speakers from above played that severed sivle sound, and no that isn’t a song, it’s a sound. He went his way and i went mine to find whatever our mouths did long. While wondering the isles feeling fwong and sig dwong i could not believe what my eyes came upon. There was dancing and cheering that went on within as i stared at, what i felt i did win. It was Baby Beef Batter and Wiz Cries With Brim. Never seeing or knowing this sort of thing could touch your lips i took the box and shook it for my mind then did wonder what was in this box with such a draw and a shine.
Walking to the front i did not take my time, i walked fast because then it wasn’t running… at least in my mind. For there were signs in this chocolate shoppe store that said “no running no shouting i do not have the time!” and i did not want to break them, those rules on the sign. When i got to the counter and paid for mine i whispered quite loudly, remember the sign,”Hey blithering buddy, i had just seen the time, i fear i am late and must flap and flim flime. i bid thee adieu and good luck i hope you find what is right for you.”
For quite some time i had not seen the blithering blubber boy who’d led me to find that magic that touched my lips. He had disappeared, the TV had said a few times. i had figured he’d probably be dead by this time. Upon hearing this news i thought it would be good if i went back on down to the chocolate shoppe for a day. It was what he’d want me to do, the little blithering blathering blubber boy that led me to my baby beef batter. Walking through the isles, what i had come for i could not find. It was what i’d longed for for quite some time so i went to the spot where it was, what i thought i would find. Instead when i looked there was another box that had a good shine. Upon it’s smooth blumby bum, bimbly exterior read the words “Blither Blather Blubber Boy Batter, Better Bet Big Buck That IT’S GOOD!”
And it was… good that is.

Late Nights at the Grocery Store

Since I have quit working at Hardee’s I have begun doing cleaning jobs at night. It is pleasent work. Three nights out of the week, I clean the floors at the local grocery store. Chris CunninghamThere is a guy named “Josh” who I am sure is Chris Cunningham. Josh has short hair but every other feature is identical. I am onto you Josh!

The house is comming along well. The first few steps were demolision work and then small things that were not noticable but necessary. We have been taking photos of the progress. With the photos I will be creating a, part, slide show, part, video from begining to end. It may be a little funny but its main purpose will be to show friends and family the steps we took and the work we did to get the house looking the way it is (will be). It will be a fun project to help me relax when we finally finish working on the house. I cannot wait!

Exodus from the Grease Sauna!

Alas! my skin can remain cleansed. My employment at Hardee’s has ended. Never again will I choose employment in which I spend any amount of time in a grease sauna kitchen. Each night I came home I was forced to shower because if I didn’t: “Get those Hardee’s hands away from me!”, my wife would say. “You stink!”, everyone would say. Those days are no more! No more!

As for my diet, eating vegan, I have started eating small portions of fish and other sea creatures. My mother-in-law and I started to become skeptical of the book we were reading, The China Study. She did a little research and found out that the authors of the book omitted data on the amount of sea food consumed my the Chinese.
While the weight of the authors’ points have been greatly diminished by this, I still feel eating, mainly, vegetarian will reap enormous health benefits. I have already lost weight and started feeling better within the first week. Of course I did have a few relapses and decided to eat some meat. That was short lived thanks to my employment at Hardee’s.

My new Employment makes Me Sick

Since starting my new job at Hardee’s, a fast food restaraunt, I have started eating vegan. Not for the aspect of protecting animals but for health reasons. Working there has actually stifled any urges to go back to eating meat. The smell of the meat all days gives me a stomach ache and headache. Seeing it go from frozen slabs to greasy, oil slabs has ever dispelled me of the cravings of a burger.
The 'Monster Burger' weighs in at, a little, over 2/3 lbs.
This sounds a little outlandish. Let me explain. In order to get the loan for my house, my wife and I had to get jobs as soon as possible. Where we will soon be living is in a small town. There is not much employment available. Needless to say, I will be quiting soon.
The reason I have started eating vegan, along with my wife and her parents is because we have all been reading this book called The China Study (more current post regarding the book) by Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Thomas M. Campbell II. It goes into detail on the authors’ findings from studying the effects of eating mainly animal proteins (anything with animal based ingredients) compaired to eating only plant proteins. There have been many other studies and tests done which compliment their findings which the book describes. Some of the other studies were done in the 1960’s and re-produced in the 1980’s (I think the 80’s) with the same results.
The findings in these studies show that changing your diet from mainly animal proteins to plant proteins can reverse cancer and heart disease and prevent them. The results have been shown in rats and humans. It is very intriguing. If you are concerned about your health or just are interested in being healthy, this is definitely something you should read.

Well, now I am off to help people clog their arteries with huge burgers that will kill you.

Lunged into left Brain thinking

By nature I am mainly a right brain thinker but am very logical. Maybe I am a good mix, who knows. Lately I have been feeling as though the back left of my brain is developing a little more. Although, after some top of the iceberg research I found that that part of the brain handles vision. According to my Phrenology model this part of the brain handles such emotions as Marriage, Conjugatity and Constancy which are, sort of, the things I am dealing with now. The scary thing is that most of the feeling is located where the model reveals to me where the brain deals with vitative feelings. Yoga-tuh-boga!

Wife and I are closing on our house at the end of this month but all of my dealings with, what seem to be, left brained people is making the left side of my brain tingle a little.

If anyone has some more info on the use of the back left of the brain please give me some input. I have no time to research things lately.

On the subject of brains take a look at this video interview of the former world’s highest IQ holder who is a bouncer at a bar. The current record holder is Kim Ung-yong.

Official ChaCha Guide

NOTE: If you are interested in becoming a guide and have questions email me, and feel free to us my email for the person who referred you. My email is

I’m officially a ChaCha guide. I’m making 20 cents per question. Some of them are quite easy but others are very hard such as one I received today: how many Milky Way candy bars does it take to reach from the surface of the earth to the surface of the moon? It was 200 thousand something or 2 Million something, I cannot remember. Other ones, that are more simple are simply asking for jokes, which I can easily provide because I am full of them. That’s about all I have to say today. I will be devoting some more of my precious time to ChaCha and answering questions coming from around the nation.

Good night. listen

P.S. I had to calculate how many Milky Way bars for that answer myself… it was fun.

My first blog post using Jott

This is my first blog post using jott. It is an online service, a telephone service actually, also you can use to make notes to yourself or email friends or text message them. You can even post to your blog or to Twitter using this. I just wanted to share this with you all. It’s at Jott.com. Check it out. listen

*** Begin Typed Part of Entry ***

That was my first test using Jott. I am very impressed. It only took about two minutes to process. At the moment I am not sure whether it is a person who transcribes the message or if it is done by voice recognition software. The actual text was just a little off but if you listened to the actual recording you can hear that I just woke up and my sentence flow fortifies the chaos theory.

Google 411

Recently, I found out about a few helpful voice services. Each one is FREE! I heard of 1-800-GOOG-411 some time ago but did not believe it was actually free! It is and very helpful. It is certainly much easier then texting Google and reading the response. Plus you cannot text while driving a car… well you can… and I did once. Nothing happened but it was stupid of me. I recommend Google 411.

Cha Cha

There is another one that I think would come in handy now and then, maybe in a dispute over some menial fact with a friend, like, Who is the smartest person in the world? In a situation like this Cha Cha would probably return an answer like: Marilyn vos Savant, an American magazine columnist, author, lecturer and playwright who rose to fame through her listing in the Guinness Book of World Records under “Highest IQ”.

Cha Cha is easy to use. Simply dial 1-800-2-ChaCha and ask your question. A few minutes later you will receive a text message with the answer. The questions are recorded and played back to someone who searches for the answer online. So there is some room for error but for the most part the answers seem to be spot on.

One thing I did not like is that you receive three text messages. One confirming that your question has been submitted, another confirming that it has been submitted and that other charges may apply (I am unsure what the other charges are) and finally the third one answering your question. If you are like me and do not have text messaging plan, this could add up quickly if you use Cha Cha often.

The Anomalies in Life

House or Apartment

There has been so much going on in the past few weeks. Wife and I are looking for a new place to live. We originally wanted to look for apartments but now we are thinking of buying a house. With the market the way it is we could live in a house cheaper then rent. There are some smaller homes which are on the market for extremely cheap. This is something we never thought we’d do. We always thought renting would be the way for us.

Glam Shots for the Ages

My sister, brother and me did a photo-shoot for our parents anniversary. As you can see they are not really glam shots. A friend of mine is a professional photographer who does amazing work! He could easily and probably has, done work for musicians cover art and advertisements, I’m sure. One of the pictures is 18×20 inches! That’s huge! It was quite odd changing my clothes in the middle of a street and then going into a freezing cold, flooded river up to our neck to get some shots. Then changing all of my clothes in a handicap porta-potty.

One of our Zissou poses (below)

A Wife’s Domain

A few nights ago I was hanging out in a van that my friend was borrowing as a prospective buyer. There were about six of us there having a few beers. Before this we had cleaned a warehouse (his job). We get to hang out in the barricaded parking lot when we are done and not worry about some crazy people approaching us and asking for our money. We would not be so careless as to do this in an unstable environment. It was getting late and I get a text message from Wife wondering when I would be home. In it she tells me she needs to talk to me about something. This worries me, what could have come up in the middle of the night that she needs to talk to me about!?

Upon entering the living room I looked at her and asked what was going on. She said with a very worried look on her face,”I don’t know what I did, I don’t know if I did something wrong.” as she got up and walked to the computer,”I was reading this article on how to make money being an affiliate and it said I should get a website so I went here and now I have a website.”
”You mean, you bought a domain name?!” I asked.
    ”Yes.” she said.
”Really!?,” I asked, thinking she may have been scammed.

She is not the type of person to purchase a domain name and the host was a very odd one, Blue Wire Domains. By the way never purchase a domain or host with them. They are crappy. She showed me the article on how to make your website Search Engine Optimized (SEO) and it was spot on but the guy who wrote it suggested Blue Wire Domains, who I still suspect could be scammers. So now she has a domain name, that is a gargantuan anomaly in life.
